The House
The house dates from 1769 as shown on our frontage. It used to be a farm but it lost its original outbuildings.
Red bricks and blue stones were used to construct the historic buildings and characteristic farms of Hesbaye, our region.
We restored the house while maintaining the original material components and we added a modern look with the wooden window frames and more recently with the extension of our living room.
Both front buildings and Anne-Catherine’s workshop are built in the same way as the house.
The glass roof, made by our dear ironmonger friend, Christophe Maltaite, provides a warm and pleasant atmosphere as if it had always existed.
The house’s interior is made of traditional, quality materials: oak flooring, warm, cosy colours, linen drapes and cotton sheets, flowers...
Everything has been designed to make you feel at home.
